A princess and the pea moment

I love old fairy tale illustrations, aren’t they beautiful, this one is by Nielsen in "The Widows Son". I want this bed I love the big round shapes and the daisies hanging form the lights ahhh..

This is one is by Edmud Dulac in “ The Real Princess” by Hans Anderson, so enchanting.

My Friend has a huge collection on vintage eiderdowns and quilts very princess and the pea! I would like to climb on top curl up and have a little nap.

Gosh, well it has been a long time! Unfortunately I have been working silly hours and have felt completely uninspired! That is until I went on a visit to my friend’s house she had been to a flea market and picked up these lovely things aren’t they wonderful!

This little doggy is so cute! I seriously thought it was real at first!

I saw I man today with the most tremendous moustache, long waxed and curled. I day dreamed about running away and joining the circus, its very appealing at the moment. I’d simply love to be the ringmaster and put my head in lions heads, or wear sequins every night whilst riding show ponies, perhaps much easier is to stop shaving and become the bearded lady, oh decisions, decisions. Well this daydream lasted some time, needless to say I love the circus, the glitz the glamour the travelling, the animals, the peculiar, and how some thing so joyful and traditional can scare so many people!

Gosh what a week! I'm so very tired, that I think I will be watching some trashy TV in bed this eve...possibly catching up on stylista, ahh joy heehee. The only good thing about this week however is that flowers are out and blooming which is lovely feeling inspired by the spring time but still rather grumpy I drew this slightly evil looking (cat?) ...

This girl is so beautiful! I think I would like to doodle on my face like this! Do you doodle on your face? I scanned this years ago, it’s from a Japanese magazine but I can’t remember the name of the magazine and now it appears to have gone missing! ;0(So upsetting because the whole shoot was wonderful, I will not rest until I find it!
